In her blog, she shared all materials and links that are related to teaching and learning process. These materials are useful for other educators in looking for teaching materials and aids without spending too much time browsing the web. It is similar to a situation where the administrator of the website is actually put other work on ease by helping them look for materials faster than the usual.

Features of WordPress.com

There are several basic features of WordPress that enables its user to store the links online and publicly.

1. Pages on the header

Just like any other websites, WordPress enables its user to create a page that will appear as a tab button below the header image of the blog. Page is similar to other regular posts but it is created as a pinned post where it is always there on the top and easily accessible by the website’s guests.

2. Video embedding

WordPress also allows video to be embedded and viewed through the blog without being redirected to the video’s website such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo and others.

3. Links in post

Links the user wished to store publicly can be lists in a post and posted online so that the user can search for it whenever necessary. It is advisable to put a tag on the post so that it is systematic and easier to find without scrolling through other posts.

4. Links in widgets

If posting links in a post is seemed difficult, the user can also store the link in the widget that usually locate at the right-side of the blog. This is a better and easier way to store a link, but it can only store the link without a little description about the link. Whereas through a post, the user can modify the content with adding extra information so that the guests could understand easily.
