How to Download Video from YouTube and Related Websites

Pre-requisite

Step 1: Download helper extension

In order for this method to work, the user needs to download an extension called helper or ‘video grabber’. Video grabber works as a tool to grab the content of the video and change it into downloadable file. To download the helper (video grabber), the user can download the extension through the following link: http://en.savefrom.net/user.php
 
Step 2: Install the helper extension
If you are using Google Chrome, a panel will pop-up showing the file is being downloaded. To install the application, you can simply click it from the panel without opening the ‘Download’ folder from the ‘Files Explorer’.

To finish the installation process, the user need to select the ‘Next’ button to complete the installation. The user can choose either to select all or certain Internet browser to integrate the extension (please refer to the blue-box in the image shown below).

Step 3: Enable the helper extension

After the installation process is complete, a new Window (from the Internet Browser) will appear to confirm that the installation is done. If you are using Google Chrome, a pop-up will appear to enable the extension. If such pop-up appear, be sure to click on ‘enable’.

Step-By-Step to Download a Video from YouTube

Step 1: Open YouTube web page and search the video you intend to download

Step 2: Click open the video you intend to download
 
Step 3: Select the video quality you intend to download

Step 4: The downloading process begins 

After the video successfully downloaded into your personal computer, you can now enjoy the video by using your most preferable video media player to view the video.

Other than YouTube, users can also use the extension to download video from any related website such as Vimeo, Facebook, VK and Odnoklassniki.ru.
