Introduction
One of the theme listed in the English language syllabus is the theme ‘People’. In this theme, learners are exposed to topics that is related to the community or citizen. The topics can be about intercultural understanding at national and international levels such as learning about customs and lifestyle. It can also be about relationship between people such as relationship with family such as parents and siblings, friends, boss and other groups in the community.
